Berantai

Berantai was formed in 2010 within a metalhead community in Pasuruan known as “Pasuruan Under Division”. The name “Berantai” was chosen because it embodies the meaning of a bond of brotherhood that connects and binds one another. For over a decade, Berantai has built up a discography including: Sugeng Rawuh Sang Cemeng Ing Tlatah Jawi (debut EP, 2012), “District of War” (single, 2014), “Wordly As Revenge” (demo, 2018), “Misi Supremasi” (Music Video) (single, 2024) and “Manipulation of Dominion” (2nd EP, 2025).

For the three years since its formation, Berantai has continued to champion the experimental slamming death metal genre, releasing the mini-album *Sugeng Rawuh Sang Cemeng Ing Tlatah Jawi* (2012). Subsequently, our genre has gradually evolved alongside our musical maturation, and Berantai can now be said to have shifted course, playing a more complex form of death metal—namely technical death metal—to this day.
